- Passengers are required to wear face masks and gloves for the entire journey.
- Only those passengers will be allowed to enter whose status is “Green” on the Aarogya Setu application.
- Passengers are required to do web check-in and take a print out at home. Passengers are also required to obtain a boarding pass before arriving at the airport.
- It will be necessary for the passengers to arrive at the airport at least two hours before the departure time.
- After the verification of ticket details and passenger health, he/she will be allowed to enter the airport and directed towards the baggage drop counter. A passenger has to display the PNR to the airline staff through a glass shield. (All the staff is directed to practice “minimum touch” to reduce physical contact with passengers.)
- After confirmation, staff will print the baggage tags and attach them to your bags that have been sanitized. Thereafter, the luggage would be accepted for check-in. You will get an electronic receipt in the form of an SMS instead of a printed receipt. (The entire check-in and baggage drop procedure must be completed 60 minutes before departure.)
- After security screening, passengers will be required to move to the departure areas and must follow the sanitization protocols and maintain distance around food & beverage counters or retail outlets.
- Please note that all bio-hazardous waste like masks, gloves, and tissues must be disposed of in marked bins and bags.
- Before boarding, passengers have to collect a safety kit that includes three-layered surgical masks, face shields, and sanitizers. At departure gates, passengers must scan their boarding pass and show their ID to the airline staff.
The above guidelines are issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation to be followed by all passengers regarding check-in and boarding procedures at the origin airport.
