Visa Free Country For Indians – Oman

Oman is a well-known Arab country that is situated on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula and widely attracts a lot of tourists every year. Indian passport holders are allowed to visit Oman without applying for a pre-visa. Indian nationals are required to get visa on arrival after reaching Oman at the immigration by paying a fee of 20 Omani Rial (subject to change). And, this visa will be valid only for a month. Visa Requirements

Indian nationals get Oman visa on arrival but on a condition that either they reside in or hold an entry to US/ UK/ Canada/ Australia/ Japan or any of Schengen nations. Also, the tourism of Oman has granted an exemption to the spouse/children of the Visa holder as they can obtain the visa if they are accompanying the visa holder even if they do not hold a visa to any of the mentioned countries.

General Requirements:

  • 6 months valid passport
  • A confirmed return ticket
  • Proof of hotel accommodation
  • A scanned copy of a coloured photograph
  • Scanned visa copy
  • A sanctioned leave letter or an NOC from the
    company if the applicant is employed
  • Scanned copy of the applicant’s Voter ID Card or
    Adhaar Card
  • Name, Phone Number and Address of at least 2
    Guarantors in India

The applicant is required to fill and submit the online Visa Application Form for Oman. Then, he or she has to send the print out of the completed form along with the above mentioned documents to the nearest Visa Office. The passport will be sent back to the applicant through courier.
